Master Thesis: “Robotic system of microsurgery based CNC control”

On December 14th, 2015 I finished my Master’s degree and I presented my Master Thesis “Robotic system of microsurgery based CNC control”. I’d like to thank Jesús Manuel Gomez de Gabriel for his support and supervision.


A micro-manipulation system for microscopic samples has been designed, built and tested in this Master thesis. This device accurately positions a digital microscope and micromanipulation instruments. For its implementation has been used open source technology and low cost CNC elements. Experiments with different types of samples have been carried out to verify compliance with the requirements. The resulting system is compact, low cost and easily reproducible.
